If you have healthy eyes and wear glasses, you can probably wear contact lenses. There are many types of contact lenses and after a comprehensive eye examination, your optometrist will recommend the best contact lenses for you.
The IEI dispenses a wide range of contact lenses depending on the patient’s diagnosis and needs, including astigmatic lenses, disposables, toric lenses, soft lenses (daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, bimonthly and quarterly), bifocal lenses and pediatric lenses.

REFRACTIVE SURGERY & LASER CORRECTION CONSULTATIONS
For patients over age 18 who want freedom from glasses and/or contact lenses, we can assess whether you are a candidate for refractive surgery or laser vision correction.
The most commonly performed procedure is called LASIK surgery, but it is not for everyone. There may be other options for which your eyes are more well-suited, such as PRK, implantable contact lenses, or clear lens extraction. Our doctors can assess your unique situation and recommend the best treatment option for you.
