Low Vision and Aging
The Alfred and Sarah Rosenbloom Center on Vision and Aging
The Alfred and Sarah Rosenbloom Center on Vision and Aging at the Illinois Eye Institute provides unparalleled care to the aging population and the visually impaired.
In addition to providing onsite care for these patients, the Rosenbloom Center features educational outreach programs, community health care services and research— all in a state-of-the-art, private practice-like setting.
The Rosenbloom Center honors a leader in the optometric profession and at the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Alfred Rosenbloom, and his wife, Sarah.
Additionally, many geriatric patients are concerned about driving and passing their DMV exam. Our doctors provide driving evaluations which include visual field and contrast sensitivity testing, and we also help patients fill out forms so that when they go to the DMV, they can just hand in these forms rather than doing the vision test.
